Hi Life Special Care Dental Chews are made from natural hide and can help to discourage the build-up of tartar, clean teeth and gums and keep breath fresh when used daily.

Around 80% of dogs over the age of three suffer from some kind of dental problem so it’s important to keep your dog’s teeth and gums healthy. Left unchecked, a dog’s normal diet can lead to tartar build-up which in turn can cause inflammation and pain in the teeth and gums.

Feeding guidelines

For best results, feed one to three chews daily. These chews should not be fed to puppies under 9 months (smaller breeds) or 6 months (larger breeds). Never leave your dog unattended with any toys, treats or chews. Do not feed on carpets or other stainable surfaces. Always ensure your dog has access to plenty of fresh drinking water.

Hypoallergenic dog

24th Sep 2015

Hello my dog is hypoallergenic would these be suitable?

  • Non-Executive Director

There is a slim chance that your dog is allergic even to the hide proteins in this product. However that is very unlikely and even dogs very prone to allergies are normally fine with these chews. You will only find out by trying them. Give just one and see how things go before you decide if you can go on giving them. It will probably be fine though.
