As long as our amazing Collie got used to it and actually sleeps in it, then that's really the ultimate goal...and she seems to do exactly that! I wanted to get her an elevated bed to reduce the condensation of her other Joules bed from spending sometimes long periods of time in it. I wanted to reduce the smells that accompany that and hopefully, at the same time, help with any potential temperature regulations during her night time sleeping and day time snoozing. No condensation, less to no smells, MUCH easier to clean/shake off/brush off fur as i've put a lovely blanket down for her for just a little extra comfort, and no doubt it's nice and airy under her so yeah, that's got to all be beneficial. It's sturdy, the solid foldable base seems to be holding up no bother, she's only 14-15kg and I bought her the Large that can hold up to a 35kg pooch, I don't think she'll be breaking the bed any time soon so it's hopefully here to last and that means it's spacious! For a solid bed I think the space is great for stretching as there's no cushioning bar a thin sponge on the base.

My boy is a serial bed destroyer so i was really sceptical burying this as i didn't want to spend that much money for him to chew it up, or pee on it.
He has had raised beds before and they always break or he chews them
But i just felt so bad on him not having his own bed i took the plunge, the fact you can get replacement covers was also a deciding factor incase he did break it.
Its not as spongy as I'd have thought but with his blanket on he really likes it.
The smell others mentioned was initially strong but its a new furniture smell and it went really fast so it didnt bother me.
It did take him a few days to come around to, but he's always in it now, he's not attempted to chew it or peed on it at all.
My other dog keeps kicking him out of it and getting in it so i will be buying another for her and binning her old bed ❤
