I bought the two together and I'm really glad I did. I've used for the first time today and I was so impressed by the shine I got on a black scruffy cob. I curry combed first. Used the stuff rice brush then the soft horsehair one. I've never had such a quick using my cheaper brushes. And these brushes are not that expensive. I look forward to doing my two other horses tomorrow. A grey and a bay. I will always buy haas now
