Equilibra 500 is a feed balancer designed to complement the natural high fibre diet of all horses and ponies by providing a combination of digestive aids, essential vitamins and minerals, essential fats and oils and natural antioxidants.


  • Maximizes the digestion and absorption of nutrients from all foodstuffs, particularly those from forage/fibre based diets.

  • Provides optimum daily vitamin and mineral content.

  • Contains high levels of Omega 3 to support optimum health, fertility and performance.

  • Minimizes the potential threat of harmful toxins or other antagonists.

  • Contains 10 active nutraceuticals, including: Actisaf Sc47 live yeast, concentrated yeast derived oligosaccharides, hemp oil derived omega 3 fatty acids, microscopic toxin binder, oat bran concentrated soluble fibres, prebiotics and a blend of galactolipid emulsifiers, tocotrienol antioxidants, beta glucans and phospholipids.

  • Contains the Oatinol Delivery System to maintain a healthy digestive tract and a high rate of absorption of essential nutricines, vitamins and trace elements.

How to Feed

  • Introduce the recommended daily quantity of Equilibra 500 over a period of 4 days.

  • Split the total daily quantity by the number of daily feeds.

  • Simply mix with your horse or pony's normal feed.

  • Depending on the workload, please ensure the horse or pony receives adequate levels of forages and energy dense hard feeds.

  • ​1 measure = 250gms.

Delivery of aerosols

Due to restrictions aerosols can't be sent by Royal Mail. We appreciate your understanding.

Delivery of temperature controlled items

Some products, such as non-ambient items and frozen food, need to be delivered in insulated packaging to prevent them from getting too warm (or too cold) during transit from us to you. Purchasing any of these items in your order will result in a £1.99 charge being added to the total to cover the high cost of the insulated packaging materials. You only pay the £1.99 once per order, regardless of how many temperature controlled items you purchase in that order.

How do I cancel or return an order?

Please call us as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel an order on 01582 842096. If your order has been processed for dispatch we will be unable to cancel or amend the order. You will however be able to return your product for a full refund*.

To return an item, you must contact us by phone or email to arrange this BEFORE posting any product back to us. We will explain the process at this stage for you.

Can this still be use on a older horse ?

Hi Trish,

Thank you for your question. This supplement is suitable for horses of all ages and disciplines. As it is such a concentrated formulation you would only need to feed a small amount. If your horse has any teeth problems it can also be moistened with some water to make a mash.
