Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Gomega Plus Fish Oil for Dogs, including answers from our team.
Lola
Is this suitable for dogs with renal failure and how is it different from gomega plus ?
This depends on the severity of your dog's kidney failure. Usually kidney disease is managed carefully with special diets and changes to these diets can affect the condition. This supplement is based on fish oil and so may affect a current renal diet, however the amount given to dose your dog will be very low compared to the normal food. It is best to check with your vet to ensure this is safe though.
Unfortunately VetPlus will not provide us the information regarding the difference between Gomega and Gomega Plus. We recommend contacting them direct for this.
