Does this have the same active ingredients as hibiscrub, along with the same concentration?
This product contains the same active ingredient as Hibi Scrub (Chlorhexidine). However it is less concentrated. Triscrub is 2% Chlorhexidine whilst Hibi Scrub is 4%.

Vets normally advise dilution of hibiscrub before application so it doesn't damage the skin - same advice for triscrub?
Yes, this scrub is very similar to Hibi Scrub and should be diluted at similar concentrations to what your vet advises for Hibi.

I have to wash my dogs infected skin folds with hibiscrub but I’ve came across this. Is this pretty much the same as hibiscrub and can I use it for cleaning his mouth?
It is very similar, both contain chlorhexidine as the active ingredient. Triscrub and Hibiscrub are just different brand names.
Triscrub is intended for skin disinfection and is not advised for use inside the mouth, however it will be safe for use in the skin folds outside the mouth. You should dilute it 1 part Triscrub 4 parts warm water for this use.

Does this product kill Coronavirus?
Hi Anne,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Because Coronavirus is so new, manufacturers have not had access to
the virus in order to test their products with it, so products cannot
currently claim to be effective against Coronavirus.
Given that this product contains chlorhexidine, which is well regarded as an effective general disinfectant (proven against some viruses too),
there is a good chance that it will be suitable for use as part of your
protective strategy (eg for washing hands or paws) but until the manufacturer has had access to test a
specific viral strain with the product, it cannot be guaranteed to kill Coronavirus.
Using a disinfectant intended for surfaces around the home
too would be expected to greatly reduce risk to families - especially in
addition to following government guidelines for hand hygiene, social
distancing etc.
