I wanted neatsfoot oil, because I think its the best for dried out leather, used in all sorts of products - the dried out being as if the product is due to be binned, my experience of using this oil has proved , to me, its up at the top. BUT this isnt a fancy dressing type oil/polish, where you just wipe on, then use article- this is for product revival, obviously if you dont use much of leather made goods/products, use something else. trouble is really not a lot of people know trhis, so shoe repairers dont stock it, or might have a small tube , at £10 or so.
VioVet supplies larger/large quanities at very good prices, IMO.

I bought this to see if it could do anything for my western saddle, the girth straps were all stiff and it had generally been neglected for a number of years
I've used it daily for a few weeks and theres a marked difference in the leather, not quite like new but nice and supple again very happy with it
