This is a variation on the Full Cheek Snaffle, the only difference being loose, rather than fixed, rings either side of the mouthpiece. This offers the advantage of being more flexible without pulling the bit through the horse's mouth. The bit still provides the protection and lateral guiding effect of the Full Cheek Snaffle.
