Our Elderly cat regularly misses her tray (down to arthritis), so we were looking for something to use in addition to the litter mat, which we've have to regularly replace. The liners have worked a treat and soak up any messes outside of the tray effectively. They are slightly pricey and our cat took a few days to get used to them, but otherwise serve their purpose and have saved alot of clearing up
