Hi, I’m trying to find a flea treatment that’s effective for my cat, she weighs 6.5-7kg do you know if Fipnil plus would still be effective or can you recommend a product that would?
Yes Fipnil Spot On will treat your 6.5kg/7kg cat absolutely fine. Fipnil Plus also contains a insect growth regulator (S-Methoprene) which prevents flea larvae turning into adults. They both contain Fipronil as the main ingredient which kills fleas/lice/tick.

Hello my dogs are on simparica flea treatment but the fleas have to bite them for this to work, can i use Fipnil spot on as well at the same time, Thanks.
Yes you can use Fipnil safely alongside Simparica. If you would like specific advice on what flea/worming treatment to use in your individual pet then please contact our customer services on [email protected] so one of our medicine advisors can help you further.

Tell me please, what is the expiry date of the product?
I need it for my dog from April till December - 8 pipettes
If I have 1 pipette left, can I use it next spring?
Hello,
Thanks for your question.
The expiry date on the stock we currently hold is 07/21; we would advise that treatment needs be given all year round as flea pupae can lay dormant. Switching the heating on in the winter can encourage any unhatched fleas to hatch.
I hope this helps,

Is this ok for a puppy ? He is nearly 15 weeks and weighs 10Kg
Hi Sara,
Fipnil can be used on puppies over 8 weeks old/weighing more than 2kg, so it will be fine for him. If he's 10kg already, I'd recommend buying the 10-20kg, as he will be growing quickly and this will cover him for the next 3 months.
Kind regards,
Danielle.

Hi. Should I use this product as I would Advocate. Many thanks.
Hi Jayne,
Application method of Fipnil is the same as Advocate, yes. It is recommended that the product is dispensed at two points along the dog's back. The hair should be parted and product applied directly to the skin.
Fipnil is effective against fleas, ticks but will not provide protection from internal parasites. I'd recommend worming your dogs at least every 3 months as a precaution with a product such as Prazitel (a multi-wormer, made by the same manufacturer's as Fipnil).
Kind regards,
