I have 2 cats that live on their nerves and cannot settle properly even when they come indoors. Since having started the Feliway Optimum it has certainly helped. A couple of weeks is needed to see a difference but they are much more calm and relaxed. It’s lovely to hear them purr.

my cat hides under my bed often and when she comes down she will not sit down in the sitting room - just walks round and out again - she is friendly only in my bedroom. Where should I locate the difuser? It would be great to have her on my lap downstairs! thank you
Feliway advise using the diffuser in the room where your cat spends most of their time. Or in the room where tension or conflicts happen most often.
In your scenario it is best using it first in the room she spends most of her time, the diffuser can then work to calm her and hopefully encourage her to step beyond this area. You may wish to use it in multiple areas to ensure the calming effect is maintained once this is achieved.

I obviously need this to use for my cats as they have started displaying unusual behaviour since bringing in another cat into the household but, I also have dogs. Is this safe to use around dogs too?
FELIWAY is safe for use around dogs when used as recommended. The hormone is specific to cats so unfortunately will not affect dogs however. If you are looking to calm your dog then I advise using Adaptil which is manufactured by the same company but targeted at dogs instead.
