Bought for snake and glass terrarium. Has to go in mess/ceramic bulb holder which fortunately we had. Keeps terrarium at 40 deg C. Also keeps room warm from radiant heat. Heats and provides UV.
Reached order but screw thread damaged, immediately replaced by Viovet. Brilliant service.
