I use this for minor to moderate cuts and it always provides protection and quick healing. Builds a layer of gel over the cut and flys seem to stay away. Definitely recommend all yards should have a tube or two around the place.

Pleased with this gel which I have been using on my mare who suffers from sweet itch. It has soothed the irritated areas of her skin even around the dock area.

Very good gel. Says to put on 2 to 3 times a day but I've only put it on in the morning after cleaning the wound.

I use this to keep frogs free from infection once a week and it is proving successful so far.
I would ike it to be available in larger quantities though as a small tube doesn't last long

Itching and inflammation

Zoe Mayo

Hi
Can I apply this around the anus area as its a little inflamed and looks sore

  • VioVet Staff

This would be a good product to use on your horse. If your horse continues itching around his/her bottom it may be worth getting your vet to check for pinworm eggs as they are quite prevalent at the moment. Cleaning around the anus every morning to remove eggs and a double dose of a Pyrantel based wormer such as Strongid P would be a good start.
