Description

Equimins Vital Vits+ is a liquid supplement that has been specially formulated for all classes of livestock. It will provide a concentrated source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Vital Vits was developed originally for poultry, but of course it can also be used for other animals such as goats, calves, sheep and other young animals. Vital Vits Plus will help symptoms of stress when animals are being transported, in cases of infection, parasitic infection, any change in diet etc.

Being liquid, it quickly enters the blood stream to support resistance to infection and situations of stress. For growing animals and adults, it will help nervous conditions, and can give be given as an adjunct to antibiotics.

For poultry: In times of disease and under stress conditions, use to overcome any vitamin deficiencies in the diet after any viral or bacterial infection. Can help to improve feed conversion in laying hens and increase egg production. It will assist with egg fertility in breeding stock and the hatching percentage.

For broilers: it will combat vitamin deficiency and support the immune system against infection.

Vitamins to help stroke in chicken

Suzanne chapman

My friend has a pet chicken which has suffered a stroke. It keeps having fits, but still eats fairly well but has lost its balance. It has been like this for about six months. She is hand feeding it. Would your supplement help?

  • VioVet Staff

It is strongly advised that your friend sees their vet. There may be a treatment that can help the condition. Vitamins are a good choice for supporting a hen through any disease process though, Equimins Vital Vits+ is a good choice of multivitamin.

Is it possible to give this by syringe ?

  • VioVet Staff

Yes the doseage for this product can be given by syringe however it is usually easier to administer it mixed into the drinking water. You should only syringe this product if you know how to syringe feed your chicken safely, you can easily administer the product into the air sacs accidentally if not done correctly. You need to ensure your chicken swallows the liquid which is usually done by administering very slowly.
