Equimins Sand-Ex is an all natural dietary pelleted fibre product Psyllium (Plantago ovata) combined with Probiotics and Prebiotics. For use when sand is in the intestinal canal, as a natural fibre and microbial supplement to greatly assist the natural flow of food through the intestinal tract.
Being pelleted means that this product can be swallowed easily and does not turn to jelly until it is in the digestive system, unlike ordinary psyllium which turns to jelly quickly once in the mouth and horses often then spit it back out.
Store at 10 - 20 degrees C.
Always replace the lid after use.

My horse is very fussy and will not eat Psyllium as a rule so I thought that I would take a chance on Equimins Sand Ex. My horse loved them so much he wanted them in every feed as he loved the pellets which smelt very nice, a bit like vanilla! He will definately be using these again.
