What are the recommended feeding guidelines for this herb?
Is this fed alone or should oil be added?
There is not an exact science to feeding Turmeric. It is usually given at anywhere between 2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon twice a day. It does not have to be given with oil though many people do mix it with Linseed oil for the beneficial effects the Linseed can have on joints too. If you are not giving it with oil then just add it to to damp feed so that the powder sticks to the feed and is not wasted.

I give my 11 year old boxer lintbells yumove tablets advised by my vet as she has arthritis in her back legs, is it ok to give her turmeric powder as well as the yumove tablets. I also give her lintbells yumega oils for itchy skin
It is perfectly safe to give turmeric alongside Yumove and Yumega. However if you are concerned about giving too many supplements you could have a look into a joint supplement that already contains turmeric such as our own Joint Force. Seraquin or GWF Nutrition Joint Aid.
