Bought to use alongside slippery elm as an aid to protect horses stomachs from acid splash after diagnosis of ulcers. Smells good, very palatable.

I use aloe vera for my two horses.
One has a tendency to gastric ulcers and after two years without problems, this year they have come back. No idea what causes them as he is out 24/7 and does not compete or travel. He was also on the same diet for those 24 months. Anyway, I may not know why he gets them, but aloe vera together with slippery elm do certainly help.
My other horse developed sweet itch, or something similar, when I started adding sugar beet to his diet. Took me sometime to figure out it was that, but now that he does not get it anymore his condition has eased a great deal. I give him aloe vera to help. I thought if it is so good when I treat his dermatitis with it, it may be also good if he ingests it.
The 4 litre bottle comes in handy, it lasts longer and it is cheaper.

I have recently started adding a little of this to my dogs meals after being recommended by my daughter to try it. There has been an improvement I am pleased to day and as he has only been on it for under 2 weeks I am confident we shall succeed in the end
