Our oil is extracted at low temperatures from sustainably sourced Scottish salmon, to preserve the naturally rich levels of omega-3 (EPA & DHA), 6 and 9. The easy-to-use pump makes measuring out the right amount simple, with absolutely no mess!

How does it work?

  • Deeply nourishes from the inside out, helping even itchy & flaky skin feel balanced and comfortable, as well as promoting a silky, shiny coat.

  • Aids the body’s natural anti-inflammatory pathways, to give an extra helping hand to cats & dogs prone to skin allergies, and can also help to ease stiff, sore joints.

  • Omegas play an important role in the maintenance of overall health, including the joints, eyes, heart, brain and immune system.

  • We’ve also added vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant which helps to reduce oxidative damage to the skin.

All this adds up to a pet that not only looks great, but most importantly, feels great!

Bought as a supplement as this year my dogs are a bit itchy, I like to try a natural remedy before the vet where possible. They both love the taste, and seem to have calmer skin. One of my dogs developed a different smell to her coat, but i have read this can happen with some dogs.

This is a good oil. It has no strong smell, just slightly fishy, and a reasonable colour. One of my cats loved it to start with and then went off it. I will re-introduce it after a little break. The other cat wouldn’t touch it. I bought it to improve the female’s coat after a bout of harvest mite, and it has definitely helped as her new fur is soft and dense.

Epiglow + joint force plus

Suzy

My 11 year old Jack Russell is currently taking joint force plus for his joints with a pump of Epiglow in his food to mask the smell as he won’t eat the tablets without it. He also has itchy skin which is helped by the oil. Could he take the Epiglow salmon oil instead with joint force plus or is it better to stick to the other Epiglow oil?

  • VioVet Staff

Yes, the Salmon Oil will also provide Omega Fatty Acids and can be used instead of EpiGlow. It is worth noting that Joint Force Plus already contains Omega 3 Fish Oil Powder and so there will be some sharing of ingredients between the two. This may cause a slight overdose of Omega Oil however this is likely to be very safe. It is just worth noting to not supplement any other sources of Omega Oil alongside these.
