Hi, are the veggie antlers safe for pregnant dogs?
Yes these antlers are safe for the average pregnant dog. Like any change in diet though it is best to avoid introducing this during the pregnancy just in case your dog is intolerant to one of the ingredients. Diarrhoea from an intolerance would reduce the nutrition intake of your dog when it is very much needed for the pregnancy period.
Ideally dietary changes should be kept to a minimum during the pregnancy and lactation period. Your dog should be on a higher than normal fed intake, or ideally a puppy diet, to meet their nutritional needs though.
