Dorwest Rhus Tox Homeopathic Vials

  • 100 Pillules £6.92

One of the most popular homeopathic remedies - used to aid stiff joints as well as the itches. Combines well with herbal medicines for optimum results.

The administration size is always the same for any size or breed of animal but the frequency of administration varies according to the condition being treated: 1 four times daily until improvement is shown then reduce to 1 three times daily as long as required. It is preferable, but not essential, to avoid giving homeopathic remedies within 15 minutes of food or drink. Having taken advice from today's foremost homeopathic vets, we are pleased to be able to reassure clients that there is no need to discontinue giving garlic in any form while also giving homeopathic remedies.

This remedy has been compiled in consultation with homeopathic veterinary advisors to ensure that the remedies offered are safe for you to give to your animals.

Each dispenser contains approximately 100 pillules and is unique as it enables the tiny pillules to be administered straight into the mouth of the animal without being touched by the hand, as this should be avoided when giving homeopathic remedies.

I am sorry to hear about your dog and I wish I could help. I am afraid that I am not aware of any herbal or other non-pharmaceutical product which has much effect. People do give Aloe Vera and Milk Thistle to help with Cushing's disease in dogs so they may help. Indeed Cushings does not tend to suddenly get worse, so dogs can live with it for a long time quite happily, though they tend to eat and drink a lot. I would recommend a good quality diet and regular gentle exercise, then perhaps try Vetoryl at a very low dose again in future. You might find it helps a bit at a low dose and he is free of bad effects, but obviously you would need to talk to your vet about this.
