Designed to promote easing in the birthing process for queens and bitches, Dorwest Herbs Raspberry Leaf is based on a traditional and trusted formula that has been used successfully for hundreds of years.
A traditional herbal mixture which encourages the easing of whelping and kittening, this licensed herbal medicine (AVM-GSL) is authorised by the VMD. Due to its action as a uterine tonic, this well known birth aid has also been used for hundreds of years to help promote an easy and straightforward delivery. Many bitches and queens who have previously experienced problems have subsequently had normal easy births with the aid of this tablet.
The un-coated tablets may be crushed for easy administration to cats and the smaller breeds of dog.
Extract of Raspberry Leaf 3:1 150mg.

During pregnancy - 1 tablet per 10kgs bodyweight daily from third week of gestation until one week after whelping or kittening. To prevent false pregnancy – 2 tablets per 10kgs bodyweight daily from the start of the season for 12 weeks.

After a severe phantom pregnancy after first season, I thought I’d buy these tablets for my Labrador bitch to see if it would stop another phantom happening. Followed instructions for use of tablets, dog has start showing symptoms of phantom pregnancy anyway (lactating, behaviour etc). A shame and waste of money but was worth a try.

When expecting a litter of puppies I alway give these raspberry leaf tablets from 5th week of pregnant bitch. It leads to an excellent birth by toning up the uterus and helping deliver pups with a good strong contractions and a clean birth of each pup. I would highly recommend this as a very safe birth aid
