I always buy these for my little westie. Ever since. Adopted her, five years ago.

I give this as a supplement for flea control. I would say, that as Louis is a small breed, I would prefer the tablet to be a little smaller in size.

I've heard that you can give garlic tablets to prevent fleas.how accurate is this?how many tablets and how often?many thanks.
It is commonly believed that garlic does help to repel fleas and it might well be true. I am not aware of any scientific research or assessment of this, so we are just left with anecdotal reports. Nobody can say anything about this with any certainty because it is simply not known. Personally I think that garlic is likely to help a bit. The more you give (within reason) the more effective it is likely to be. However huge amounts of garlic would start to become toxic in itself so that would not be good. If fleas are a problem I would use a licensed flea product which has been tested for safety and efficacy at a known dose. If fleas are not a problem and you are just wanting to give something to try and help keep it that way, then I would still recommend a proper flea product but if you do not like the idea of that, a regular dose of garlic might indeed help.
