Dodson & Horrell Mud Heal is a herbal combination that prevents mud fever and prevents infection by boosting the horse's immune system. Horses that are heavily feathered, have white socks or sensitive skin are most prone to mud fever when the weather becomes wet and the ground muddy. When the horse's heels are cracked and sore they can be difficult to heal so adding Mud Heal to their feed helps prevent the risk of infection from inside.

I have a veteran pony who has terrible sweetitch. After some research and trying supplements. This product combined with garlic and brewers yeast has massively helped her sweetitch. Is Mud Heal safe to give to brood mares and foals
Mud Heel and a number of our supplements cannot be recommended for mares
in foal or with a foal at foot. The reason for this is a lack of
supporting research to indicate a safe feeding rate or any possible
effects certain herbal ingredients could have on a pregnancy.
Its with this in mind that we have to be very cautious. If you wish to
feed a supplement it may be best to consult your vet. The ingredients
list on our herbal supplements is the full composition list; starting
with the highest inclusion.
