My horse loves chamomile and the other horses in the yard all show great interest when I feed it to her, (I let them have some too.) Iāve experimented with carrot or other horse treats in one hand, and chamomile in the other hand and found she will almost always choose the herb over the treat. I find Dodson and Harrell chamomile is too finely chopped and would prefer the whole flower products but Moss doesnāt seem to mind either way.

It is German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita).

How much of the chamomile flowers should I be feeding my horse and should it be daily?
