Dermoline Skin Itch Lotion for Horses

Skin Itch is an allergic reaction by horses to the saliva of the Culicoides midge. For susceptible horses it causes intense irritation, and the horse rubs, and nibbles at itself to try to alleviate the sensation. The horse will also be at risk from secondary infections by opportunist bacteria infecting the irritated sites.

Dermoline sweet itch Lotion is an effective oily lotion for preventing and soothing Sweet Itch in horses. It contains Pyrethrum which is a natural insecticide and Piperonyl Butoxide which acts as a synergist i.e. increases the effect of the insecticide.

Dermoline Sweet Itch Lotion should be applied at the beginning of the sweet itch season and reapplied daily for maximum effect.
