I was given this as a present for my 3 rats and they love it but it has to be made safe before use because the cusion inside has fluffy cotton wool type material in which CANNOT be given to rodents because it is indigestible (and can cause a blockage if they eat it) or get wrapped around their limbs constricting them and forcing the animal to chew off their legs! Therefore, if the pet chews the cushion and gets to the cotton wool stuff, this could happen, so you should cut the cushion open, remove the stuffing and sew back up before giving to your pet. you should also be aware that the only way this can be hung up is on its side.
