Although it's meant to be for the coat, I use this product on my horse's tail and mane. It untangles his tail and keeps it smooth and tangle-free for days. I have not found any other product as effective as this at detangling his tail. My only criticism of this product is that the bottle is difficult to hold as it is slippery and heavy when full. If you are trying to lift the tail and spray it is difficult to handle. And now you can't take the top off to decant it into a normal spray bottle. The old Canter spray bottle was better as you could get you hand round the neck easily. If it wasn't for the bottle I would rate it excellent.
