Excellent - Freddie my Yorkie is one of those lazy chewers, hence he had to have quite a few of his teeth removed recently. When he had his pre-op prior to the dental treatment, it showed his cholesterol level was up. I am sure this was due to the chews I had been giving him to try and clean his teeth (no way can you get near him with a tooth brush). Hence having to find some sort of chew and a treat all in one. Then Freddie and I went to the Dogfest at Loseley Park and Burns were there and were the "Carrot Bites" and Freddie likes them - hurrah. So a win win situation - Freddie has treats which don't raise his cholesterol and they help clean his gums and the few teeth he has left.
