Beaphar XtraVital Finch Food is a specially formulated mixture which has been designed to suit caged Finches. It contains egg food which provides your bird with essential amino acids, plus supplementary vitamins and minerals. Echinacea is also added to support your bird`s natural immunity and the whole blend is enriched with honey and fruit juice for maximum palatability.
21 varieties of seeds, Cereals, bakery products, insects, egg and egg derivatives, minerals, various sugars (honey 3%), vegetable protein extracts, derivatives of vegetable origin (Echinacea tincture 0.1%).
Swapping over to XtraVital does not require a change over period with your current feed. The delicious aroma and taste help to ensure that your bird accepts this feed straight away. However, to start off, it is advisable to keep a careful track of the feed intake and to mix XtraVital in to the old food if necessary.

I have been feeding my Gouldian finches this seed for many years and they do very well on it, it is always of high quality and includes a wide variety of seeds and egg food. It is rather expensive but I would highly recommend.
