These are harder to use than other brands as the markers are much smaller- so to measure 4iu of Insulin you have to pull down very carefully. They are stiff too and don’t slide nicely plus as they are shorter needle length you can’t tell if you’ve actually plunged the needle deep enough into the scruff . Not happy with these

Why can't caninsulin be used with BD Microfine Insulin Syringes as they are both supplied by MSD
The concentration of Caninsulin is different from all other types of insulin available on the market. (This was done to make it easier to give the smaller doses often needed compared with human treatments.) Only Caninsulin syringes are suitable for use with Caninsulin (calibrated at 40 international units per ml). The Microfine Insulin Syringes are calibrated at 100 international units per ml so would give incorrect dosages if used with Caninsulin.
