Bought this to replace a pin brush by another manufacturer that had worn out (lost half its pins). The pin ends are sharper than on the old brush but I am careful and so far my dog - long coat, thick undercoat - does not mind being groomed with this Ancol brush.

Having lived with the Keeshond breed all my life it has seldom been possible to buy a good pin brush without pin heads which damage the coat. Have always bought from show specialist outlets but this brush is as good as any I have used and has a very comfortable grip. Having 5 girls to groom, of which Anja is mum and grandma, I am so pleased to have found it. Very soft cushion and pins but penetrates the coat well.

2nd one of these I've bought for grooming my Cocker Spaniel. The first one lasted over 6 and a half years and Barney doesn't mind being brushed with this brush as the pins are rounded and dont scratch him.
