AB7 Industries Insect Repellent Collar for Horses
Blending highly effective natural ingredients, the AB7 Insect Repellent Collar protects horses against most parasites including flies, midges, mosquitos and horse-flies. Lasting between 3 and 5 weeks (depending on the weather), the active ingredient powerfully protects your horse, offering comfort and relief.
Once the active ingredient reaches the surface of the collar, it then migrates across the horse through the sebum covering the epidermis. After a few hours, the active ingredient dissipates from the collar and the sebum to create a repellent atmosphere that protects the animal and its rider for a long lasting effect. Put around the neck and fasten with the provided clips.

As per previous comments about this product, the enclosed poppers are less than useless - used string! I didnt notice any reduction in the number of flies etc around the horse, even after a couple of weeks. However the colour (tan) does bleed off onto grey horses! Thanks. Horse didnt mind wearing it though.

Worked really well for one of my horses- kept most of the flies off during the hottest weather and no mosquito bites (he's usually covered), however for my other horse the collar had no effect. Both horses are fed the same, and in the same field! I found the plastic clips worked fine, but if they did break the collars could be attached with something else quite easily.

Used these collars for many years ...always help keep the flies away , my horses wear one all summer they don't come off until the end of September
