I gave these to my old dog Merlin from the age of 7, he died just before his 15th birthday and he was a big dog and active to the last! I have, therefore, carried on with these with Gwinnie (short for Guinevere) when she reached the age of 7. I have just adopted a 6 year old dog (we think) who was forcibly removed from his owner as he was living in appalling conditions and was covered in faeces etc so although he is not actually of age I have started giving them to him, though he has a job to eat them as his dental health is very poor, so broken up into pieces in his food will be done in future!

glossy coats and healthy noses!

These seem to be reasonably well-accepted by my dogs, provided I crush them and mix them into their food. They don't eat them as they are (they're pretty fussy). Whether they are effective, I can't say, but we are doing all we can to ease the symptoms of aging in our two and it's worth a try!
I can't choose 'maybe' for would I recommend them, which is very annoying. I might suggest people try them, but since I have no proof of their effectiveness, I can't actually make that recommendation, nor do I wish to say 'no'.

Can you tell me what the by-products are in these tablets? My dog has allergies and the below description doesn’t explain it? He’s allergic to carrots and peas amongst other things.
Yeast, minerals, sugar, vegetable by-products, fish and fish by-products, oils & fats, milk and dairy products.
I have contacted the manufacturer and they have responded with the by products list, pasted below:
Vegetable: Wheat germ meal
Animal: Fish meal
Milk: Whey powder and lactose

Hello,
Thank you for your question.
As your dog is over 20kg they will need 2 tablets daily.
I do hope this helps.
