YuMOVE Calming Care for Adult Dogs | Previously YuCALM Dog
Keep your dog's tail wagging with YuMOVE Calming Care for Adult Dogs, previously YuCALM Dog. This unique formula contains natural, scientifically proven ingredients, providing an effective way to help reduce stress, support calm behaviour and ease anxiety.
It's perfect for dogs who feel anxious in day-to-day life, or those fearful towards specific triggers like fireworks, other dogs, strangers, travelling or being left alone. By supporting the natural pathways in the brain, YuMOVE's unique targeted formula works best when given daily to help reduce stress and help dogs to behave more calmly.
Plus, they're easy to give and taste great, too. Simply add the daily amount to your dog's food or let them eat it straight from your hand. This way, you and your dog can share great moments for longer.
YuMOVE have been researching their supplements for more than 15 years. But they’ve been pet lovers for a lot longer. That’s why their nutrient-rich supplements are not only proven in the park, but also in the vet’s practice.
Don't just take their word for it, though. YuMOVE is the UK’s no.1 veterinary joint supplement brand*, and they help over 1.7 million dogs globally every year.**

This definitely works. Have a 14 yr old Sprocker Spaniel who’s already on vitofyllin but this helps him a lot. When I stopped giving it to him I saw a behavioural change within 2 days. Won’t do without it now.

If you have an anxious dog - and many are, as life resumes something closer to normality - these tablets are a really good way of helping them to cope and relieving stress. I find them invaluable if I need to go out, and they are effective at night, too.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding YuMOVE Calming Care for Adult Dogs, including answers from our team.
Heidi
Is it ok to crush the tablet and add to food as my dog leaves it in her bowl when whole!
Yes these tablets can be broken up and put into the food if this is easier.
Marie
Good afternoon my pre adolescent German Shepherd Dog is 9 months old, he is an intact male, it was just to ask is the ( For Adults) suitable for him? He is 38kgs?
Many thanks
Marie
This calmer is intended for Adult Dogs only and so is not advised for use in a 9 month old puppy. Long term use of calmers in puppies is not recommended as the growing phase is such a key time for behavioural development. The occasional use for an expected fear event is ok though, our own brand SettleMe would be suitable for this. You should focus on behavioural training though primarily for any fear/anxiety behaviours.

My dog had a stroke and is now on Prednicare and Vivitonin and Yumove calm be taken along side them?
Yes, YuMove Calm can be safely used alongside Prednicare and Vivitonin. These are prescription only medications that your vet has issued so you should run any additions, including supplements, past them just to be safe. To ensure they do not interfere with your vet's treatment plan.
Michaela Simpson
Can my dog take this med long side other natural calming medication such as nutracalm?
It is not advised to use multiple oral calmers alongside each other as they often share ingredients. You can use a spray/diffuser calmer alongside an oral one though, such as Pet Remedy or Adaptil.
Dog
Hi, my dog is taking Dorwest Valerian and Scullcap supplement. Can these be used safely together ?
Yes these 2 products can be used safely together. I would be cautious though as the calming effect might be quite pronounced when using multiple calming products at the same time.
Arnold
Arnold is 19 month a very happy chap ,lives on a farm with lots of people & other dogs.Whenever l have to go anywhere he gets really upset ,frets & constantly seems sad .Would this product help him.
Yes this product can help your calm your dog whilst you are away. I recommend reading out blog 'A vet guide to Treating Separation Anxiety' for a full summary on how to approach the issue.
JEAN
DOES YUCALM CONTAIN SEDATIVE (HOPE NOT) AND CAN IT BE GIVEN DAILY TO TWO VERY NERVOUS DOGS?
YuCalm is a nutritional supplement that contains ingredients to help calm your dog. It does not contain any 'sedative medication' as such but your dog may be slightly more lethargic as they become calmer. YuCalm can be given daily as required.
Lisa Rhodes
My dog is also on yumove active and itchy dog would he be ok to take this aswell
Yes these all the products you mention are safe to use together.
Evie
My dog is currently taking nicinamide and omega 3 supplements as well as another supplement for hair and nails, due to the fact he has SLO. What are the amounts of each ingredient in each Yucalm tablet? I don’t want to exceed doses of things he is already getting.
melanie
Can my dog take these with her heart tablets vetmedin
Yucalm is a very safe supplement and should not react adversely with the vetmedin so it is fine to give both together.
