55 Good food

Ferrets love the food and as far as I can see it is much better quality than James Wellbeloved Ferret Complete. I'm not overly keen on the small kibble and wish they were bigger but the JW food used to sometimes get stuck at the roof of the ferrets' mouths and this doesn't happen with the smaller kibbles. I feed a mix of different foods, including some grain free and one oral cat kibble.

My ferrets have been living on it for 3 years now, they love it! Very high in protein and mostly made of chicken, unlike other ferret kible products. Also lasts me about half a year on 2 ferrets with constant refills in their bowl daily so it's definately good value for money in my opinion.

Insulinoma

Hayley

I have a ferret that is being treated for insulinoma would this be ok as I've been told that any wheat or cereals would be bad and needs all protein, currently fed on raw meat mainly heart but hate having it in my fridge and it's hard to use before it goes off
Thank you

There is a lot of rice in this diet and it is not ideal for your ferret. It would be better perhaps to get a variety of fresh meats and freeze them into small, individual portions so they keep better.
