Description

Verm-X is a 100% natural, palatable and easy to use formulation that controls intestinal hygiene whilst being gentle on the gut and digestive system.

Verm-X creates an environment in the gut and digestive system which is able to attack and expel challenges in this area.

Whereas chemical products generally work on whatever challenges are present at the time of feeding, the environment Verm-X builds is designed to stay active throughout the year, so that so long as the Nuggets are fed each and every day as instructed, it is able to stop anything from settling and doing it's damage, keeping your pets healthy and you happy!

Verm-X Nuggets for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Hamsters have been carefully formulated and produced to give domestically kept lagomorphs not only the highly palatable Verm-X intestinal hygiene control formulation but also an overall high fibre healthy treat.

The nuggets include alfalfa, wheat and molasses and encourage a healthy digestive system.

Designed to be gnawed, bringing the additional benefit of aiding healthy and strong teeth.

45 My rabbits get this every day

I’m honestly not sure if it helps with their gut health and resistance to parasites etc. it does contain herbs that seem to be health giving and it’s a remarkably cost effective way to provide these. One of my rabbits was very reluctant to eat these at first but now he loves them. He does get gut problems and recently these were the only thing, apart from bramble leaves and grass, that he would eat. So I’m sticking with this product

I've used this for GI health for all my rabbits for sometime and buying the bigger size makes it so much better value for 6 buns.
It helps keep their guts ticking along nicely and they all absolutely love Verm-X. A great tool for luring back to their hutches in the evening ;-)

If I already feed my rabbit Regutum with normal pellets, is it suitable to feed Verm-X too? Or should I just be feeding one or the other along with normal pellets?

  • VioVet Staff

These two products share a few of the same ingredients, for example the probiotic saccharomyces cerevisiae. However most of the ingredients are different so they should be safe to use together. It is impossible to say this with 100% certainty though as these two speciifc products have not been used specifically alongside each other. It is important that your rabbit gets mostly normal pellets as their pelleted food though, as supplements like this will not meet all nutritional needs and they will mainly support the gut function. I therefore advise sticking to one or the other.
