Allevyn consists of a layer of soft, hydrophilic polyurethane foam, about six millimetres thick, bonded to a pink semi permeable polyurethane film. A standard type of adhesive, flexible bandage used to hold dressings in place. Should not be stuck to bare skin as this might cause soreness and be difficult to remove later. Although best avoided, it can be stuck to fur/hair but should be replaced regularly and can be difficult to remove. (4.5m long when stretched)
