Royal Canin Veterinary diets Calm is a nutritional support for dogs up to 15kg in situtaions of stress or anxiety. The food is created for dogs with specific clinical conditions and it is recommended that this food should be used in accordance with veterinary advice and medical management. It provides essential nutrition for dogs with stress-related digestive or skin disorders and can be used for dogs undergoing behavioural therapy for anxiety. The product contains a combination of stress reducing ingredients including a-casozepine which is a patented peptide which regulates stress. It also contains a neurotransmitter which is a serotonin precursor (L-trytophan) and will aid your dog in the regulation of appetite, sleep and anxiety. Digestive tolerance will be helped with selected highly digestible proteins, chicory pulp and fish oil. Skin sensitivity will be aided by strengthening the skin's role as a barrier. A patented blend of 4 vitamins and 1 amino acid will encourage this, will stimulate synthesis of ceramides and will also limit transepidermal water loss.
