Royal Canin Maxi Starter Dog Food is a complete food for weaning maxi puppies under 2 months and for bitches at the end of gestation and during lactation. Maxi dogs will be between 26Kg and 45Kg at maturity. START COMPLEX is the product of Royal Canin's unique scientific research. Royal Canin have created an exclusive blend of nutritional elements which are naturally found in mother's milk, combined with added nutrients which help the puppy's digestive and immune system. The added nutrients will also help the bitch to meet her high energy demands after gestation and during lactation. For the puppy, the food creates a smooth transition between consuming mother's milk and solid food. This is due to its adapted levels of protein, fats and energy values. The kibble is easy for both mother and puppy to digest as it rehydrates easily to make a porridge-like consistency.
