Purina HA

A clinical diet for the diagnosis and management of food allergy and intolerance in dogs of all ages. This hypoallergenic diet ensures complete and balanced nutrition that can both assist the growth of puppies, and also be a maintenance diet for adult dogs. Purina HA is formulated from a low allergen carbohydrate source, as well as a  low molecular weight hydrolysed protein source, thereby making it suitable for allergen sensitive dogs. The high digestibility of Purina HA due to the medium-chain triglycerides means your dogs will receive the maximum nutritional benefit, and all the other ingredients are specially formulated so that your dog has everything it needs.

Medical Contraindications: none


Clinical Considerations & Diet Characteristics:
Modified protein source with a low molecular weight* - form that is less likely to initiate an immune response
Modified soy as the single protein source - reduction in antigenicity
Source of medium-chain triglycerides - high digestibility
 

Purina HA Administration:

Elimination diet trial : It must be fed exclusively for 3 to 8 weeks and even up to 12 weeks.
If signs of intolerance disappear, this feed can be used indefinitely.
