Pro Plan Puppy Large Breed Athletic with Optistart is a complete pet food for large breed puppies with an athletic physique (over 25kg at maturity). It is specially formulated with increased levels of protein, fat and B vitamins. This compliments the requirements of athletic puppies in satisfying their high energy needs and naturally higher metabolism. The product also contains DHA and Colostrum which are both naturally found in mothers milk. DHA (an Omega 3 fatty acid) is key for healthy brain and vision development. Colostrum supports immune response and continues the protection given from the puppy's mother. Essential nutrients such as Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids also support the development of healthy skin and coat, helping to protect your puppy from environmental challenges.

Ingredients: Lamb (19%), maize, dehydrated poultry protein, maize gluten meal, rice (9%), animal fat, maize flour, digest, dehydrated salmon protein, beet pulp, dried egg, wheat, calcium phosphate, fish oil, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, minerals, L-Lysine, colostrum, DL-Methionine.

Antioxidant: Tocopherol (rich extracts of natural origin).

Vitamins: Vitamin A: 15000 IU/kg, Vitamin D3: 750 IU/kg, Vitamin E: 170 mg/kg, Vitamin C: 70 mg/kg, B Group vitamins: 200 mg/kg, Taurine: 1000 mg/kg.

For puppies less than 3 months of age, divide the recommended daily amount of PRO PLAN® Puppy into 3-4 meals moistened. After weaning, feed them as much as needed to support healthy growth, (see recommendation table) but taking care not to allow them to overfeed and become overweight. After 3 months of age gradually reduce moistening. Maintaining a lean body condition during growth is important for healthy skeletal development. As large breed puppies continue to grow, their energy needs will change, so be sure to adjust the amount fed to maintain an ideal body condition. The recommended daily amounts should be adjusted according to weather conditions, the animal's level of activity and it's physical condition. Clean, fresh water should be available at all times.The product should be stored in a dry and clean place at ambient temperature.
