Pro Plan Puppy Original with Optistart provides all puppies with complete nutrition. It is specially formulated with Colostrum and contains DHA (an Omega 3 fatty acid) which are both naturally found in mothers milk. DHA is key for healthy brain and vision development. Colostrum supports immune response and continues the protection given from the puppy's mother. It is important in maintaining a healthy gut by balancing good and bad bacteria to help to prevent puppy upsets. Essential nutrients such as Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids also support the development of healthy skin and coat, helping to protect your puppy from environmental challenges.

Ingredients: Chicken (20%), wheat, maize gluten, dehydrated poultry protein, rice (8%), animal fat, maize, digest, beet pulp, dried egg, fish oil, calcium phosphate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, minerals, colostrum, calcium carbonate, DL-Methionine, L-Lysine.

Antioxidant: Tocopherol (rich extracts of natural origin).

Vitamins: Vitamin A: 15000 IU/kg, Vitamin D3: 750 IU/kg, Vitamin E: 170 mg/kg, Vitamin C: 70 mg/kg.

Typical Analysis: Protein 30.0%, Oil 19.0%, Ash 7.0%, Fibre 2.0%, Calcium 1.3%, Phosphorus 1.0%, Omega 3 Fatty Acids 0.15%, Omega 6 Fatty Acids 1.5%, DHA 0.05%.

For puppies less than 3 months of age, divide the recommended daily amount of PRO PLAN® Puppy into 3-4 meals moistened. After weaning, feed them as much as needed to support healthy growth, (see recommendation table) but taking care not to allow them to overfeed and become overweight. After 3 months of age gradually reduce moistening. Maintaining a lean body condition during growth is important for healthy skeletal development. The recommended daily amounts should be adjusted according to weather conditions, the animal's level of activity and it's physical condition. Clean, fresh water should be available at all times. The product should be stored in a dry and clean place at ambient temperature.
