Hills Prescription Diet K/D, available from VioVet, has been formulated for dogs with reduced kidney function and progressive kidney (or renal) disease. The unique formulation contains reduced levels of biological protein to reduce over-exertion of the kidneys, as well as increased levels of water soluble vitamins and minerals. Hills prescription diet K/D is not suitable for dogs with hyperlipidaemia or pancreatitis but is appropriate across breeds and is clinically proven to reduce the progression of kidney disease when fed in its early stages.

A life changing Product

After the recent bad news that our English Bull Terrier was suffering from Kidney Disease, a low protein (low phosphorous) diet was recommended. We went with Hills as the most highly recognised on online forums and within weeks of the new diet, Trick's creatine levels were back to NORMAL!!! we are so happy with this, and the food is clearly very palatable as Trick loves both the dry and wet food.
