Royal Canin Satiety Support is a complete food for cats. It has been specifically formulated to reduce excessive body weight and is suitable for use in cases of diabetes mellitus. It has a low energy density and lower calorie levels to help your cat with weight management. To ensure that your cat still receives a complete nutritional balance the food also contains plenty of added vitamins, minerals and nutrients to avoid deficiencies. The food is high in fibre which will help your cat to feel full and satisfied in between meals. If your cat is overweight, her joints will be under higher pressure. Joint health will be maintained with added nutrients in the food. Added Omega 3 fatty acids will help to give your cat a shiny coat and healthy skin.

Feed SATIETY SUPPORT WEIGHT MANAGEMENT until the target body weight is achieved.

Ingredients

COMPOSITION: dehydrated poultry meat, vegetable fibres, tapioca, wheat gluten*, wheat flour, maize gluten, hydrolysed animal proteins, animal fats, minerals, chicory pulp, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, hydrolysed crustaceans (source of glucosamine), marigold extract (source of lutein), hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin).

ADDITIVES (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin A: 24300 IU, Vitamin D3: 900 IU, E1 (Iron): 37 mg, E2 (Iodine): 2.85 mg, E4 (Copper): 13 mg, E5 (Manganese): 48 mg, E6 (Zinc): 159 mg, E8 (Selenium): 0.03 mg - Preservatives - Antioxidants.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Protein: 34% - Fat content: 9% - Crude ash: 8.3% - Crude fibres: 14.1% Omega 3 fatty acids: 3.88 g/kg including EPA and DHA: 1.5 g/kg - Metabolisable energy: 3090 kcal/kg. *L.I.P.: protein selected for its very high assimilation.

Feline Satiety Support

Veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of cats with specific clinical conditions and are recommended to be used under veterinary advice. For more information on feeding Obesity Management Wet to your cat, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

Satiety Support is for the nutritional management of:

- Diabetus mellitus type II

Not recommended in cases of:

Feeding duration

Prior to prescribing, individual target weight should be determined. The energy allowance (kcal) per kg target bodyweight is based on the cat’s body condition score (BCS) (ie. 30 kcal/kg BW for a BCS of 3.5 or 4.0 and 35 kcal/kg BW for a BCS of 4.5 or 5.0). If the cat refuses to eat or loses weight too rapidly, there may be a risk of hepatic lipidosis.
