Royal Canin Convalescence Support Instant Diet is a complete food for
dogs and cats for nutritional restoration and
convalescence. It can be fed in cases of Anorexia, Malnutrition, Tube
feeding, Post-surgery, Pregnancy, Lactation or Growth. To assess how
long to feed your pet this food please consult your vet. The food has
been specifically formulated to return your pet to normal health and
mobility with a high energy level and a high concentration of easily
digested nutrients. The high energy levels (4734
kcal/kg dry matter) will help your pet to feel more lively and active
again. The food contains an antioxidant complex made from Vitamins E
& C, taurine and lutein. The complex will help to reduce cell
stresses cause by free radicals and oxidative stress. The ingredients
are carefully selected and highly digestible to compensate for the
decreased activity of intestinal enzymes. This will help to ensure that
your pet is getting an ideal nutrient supply. The food is easily diluted
