Neutered Young Female is a complete cat food for neutered female cats. It can be fed every day from neutering up to 7 years. Neutered cats are prone to weight gain and a weight control diet is very beneficial. L-Carnitine helps to move fat into the mitochondria to be used as an energy source. Low starch levels will help to prevent weight gain, obesity and diabetes. High protein levels will help your cat to preserve muscle mass whilst giving a feeling of fullness between meals. High protein recipes are also highly palatable for cats. The kibble will also encourage dental and oral health due to its texture and shape. The mechanical action of chewing will limit the development of dental plaque and tartar.Urinary problems will be helped as the food will increase urine volume. This will help to prevent the formation of struvite or calcium oxalate uroliths. Hairballs will also be prevented with a balance of beet pulp and maize fibre.
