Pro-Kolin+ is a carefully formulated probiotic and intestinal calming product for use in cats and dogs. It is very palatable and contains a number of different ingredients designed to contribute in different ways to settling diarrhoea quickly and safely. Pro-Kolin+ contains kaolin and pectin, both of which have been used for many years to absorb toxins and soothe the intestinal lining. The probiotic component is provided by the 'friendly' bacterium, Enterococcus faecium (NCIMB 10415) E1707. This, helps to maintain the levels of beneficial bacteria while also competitively inhibiting "unfriendly" pathogenic species.
Pro-Kolin+ is beef flavoured and most dogs and cats love the taste, making it easy to administer from the graduated syringe.

Dose rate:
Cats and puppies: 1-2ml, two-three times a day
Adult dogs: 2-5ml, two-three times a day
Pro-Kolin+ should be given either mixed in food, or placed directly into the mouth for as long as required, or as advised by your veterinary surgeon.

My dog has sensitive stomach but he never has any problems after eating the paste. He likes to just lick it off my hand voluntarily. It helped him many times with diarrhoea and any signs of colitis. I would always keep one handy at home. I would recommend getting the 60ml syringe size if you have a Collie/Labrador size dog like me.

The syringe is easy to use and more importantly is an effective help to my dog's occasional diarrhoea. She likes the taste and I have no problem in getting her to take it.

Once opened, as long as it is stored in a cool dry place, I am sure that this would last for a good three to four months. It may last longer, all that would happen is that it might be a little less effective.
