Bought these bowls for my standard poodles . But not as narrow at the top as advertised .

I bought this dish with its narrower opening to use as a water bowl for my Cockapoo, Basil as when he drinks from a wide bowl his ears go in the water and when he moves away he leaves three 'slug trails' of water over the floor. The narrowness of this dish has helped a bit with that, but unfortunately the dish itself just doesn't have the volume to hold enough water, as I also have two other, smaller dogs and so am constantly having to refill it, which leads to the second problem with it. There is no opening/handle to aid in lifting and carrying it, so it is actually quite difficult to manoeuvre without spillages , particularly when full of water. I think that it would work well with food but is not really very successful as a water bowl so have gone back to my original wider/bigger bowl.

These bowls are perfect for my Cocker Spaniel Puppy. His big ears don’t get wet or dirty when he eats or drinks. They are also lightweight for travel and easy to clean
