Calibra Dog Life Adult Turkey with Apple – This hypoallergenic canned food, with turkey and apple, is a complete food designed for adult dogs. The hypoallergenic recipe is based on a single type of protein and is formulated with a limited number of ingredients. The grain- and gluten-free canned food is easily digestible. It contains only 100% defined ingredients of the highest quality.
The recipe contains apples, which are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and also have strong antioxidant properties. They are also high in fiber, which has a beneficial effect on digestion and the immune system.
Salmon oil in the recipe is a source of Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA), necessary for brain development and function, and to support the physiological functions of the skin and coat and the quality thereof. Omega-3 also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Having been to vets many times over the years and advised to give him a bland kibble only which he hates so I added cooked turkey. This helped for 6 years with the addition.of a cooked meal, but gets colitis at times and in pain. Looked everywhere for one protein food, he wouldn't go near what tin food the vet suggested. I purchased reluctantly as tins of 6, but I opened the tin and he jumped for it. Ate a plateful straight down within minutes. No problem with this meat do far, been a month, westie much happier, no loose poo have firmed up. Vet said allow 6 weeks for a reaction but you know your own dog 2 days I would of known. So glad i found this monoprotein may try a different flavour. Recommended.
