I... hi VioVet,
first of all I wanted to thank you for how quickly my item was despatched.
I just thought I should let you know how FANTASTIC this product is! I have 2 cats, Poppy 5 & Cornelious 9 who I use this product on daily. Cornelious has allready been to the vets to have his teeth cleaned while under anesthetic, not ideal as you will know. he was getting ready to be done again when my husband saw a reveiw on the \"money saving\" website, a lady was raving about it so we gave it a go!
I put a small amount on my finger, Poppy will just lick it off herself but Cornelious being a boy (& more stubborn) has it rubbed on his teeth. I saw a difference in 2 weeks! the thick build-up of tartar on the back teeth was just dissapearing, like magic.
I have just ordered my 2nd tube & can honestly say that my cats teeth are whiter & their gums, healthier!
you may think that it\'s expensive for a toothpaste, but it is so much much more than that.
firstly - no messing about with a toothbrush, which neither me or my cats enjoyed.
secondly - what\'s the alternative? general anesthetic which your cat may not wake-up from & is expensive.
well, thanks for an EXELLENT product & I will buy it as long as I own cats.
thanks again, jo. x Show full testimonial View all testimonials Write a testimonial | | | | | | To see more information on this product, please click on the title of the particular section below that you are intrested in. Amoxycare Capsules contain a broad spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin which is bactericidal against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacterial pathogens found in dogs including the following; Pasteurella spp., Staphylococci (penicillin sensitive strains), and Streptococci. When susceptible organisms are present treatment with Amoxycare Capsules may be effective in the following indications: localised infections alimentary tract infections respiratory infections urogenital tract infections secondary bacterial infections generalised infections The recommended dose is 10-20mg/kg twice daily for seven days. This dose may be increased and/or repeated more frequently at the Veterinary Surgeon's discretion. The dog may be dosed with the capsule or alternatively the capsules may be added to a little feed. For animal treatment only. Keep out of the reach of children. As with all penicillins the product may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) following ingestion. Not to be used in animals with a known allergy to penicillin. Do not treat dogs less than 10 kg bodyweight. Not to be administered to small herbivores. As with all other penicillins, bacterial resistance to amoxycillin may occur. Thus, antibiotic sensitivity testing should be considered if a clinical condition fails to respond to treatment within 5 days. In common with many antibiotics, administration of amoxicillin may disturb the gut flora. Operator warnings Penicillins and Cephalosporins may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact. Hypersensitivity to penicillins may lead to cross-reactions to cephalosporins and vice versa. Allergic reactions to these substances may occasionally be serious. Do not handle this product if you know that you are sensitized or if you have been advised not to work with such preparations. Handle this preparation with great care to avoid exposure, taking all recommended precautions. If you develop symptoms following exposure such as a skin rash, you should seek medical advice and show the doctor this warning. Swelling of the face, lips or eyes, or difficulty with breathing are more serious symptoms and require urgent medical attention. Wash hands after use. Drug interactions Amoxycare Capsules are unlikely to interact significantly with any of the other drugs commonly administered to dogs. It is not recommended to administer bacteriocidal and bacteriostatic antibiotics concomitantly. Use during pregnancy or lactation As with all other antibiotics, Amoxycare Capsules should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation. There is no evidence that the use of amoxycillin presents any particular hazard either to the dam or to the foetus. Do not store above 25°C. Store in a dry place. Protect from light. An appropriately graduated syringe must be used to allow accurate administration of the required dose volume. This is particularly important when injecting small volumes. This product is not suitable for intravenous or intrathecal administration. Milk for human consumption must not be taken from a cow during treatment. With cows milked twice daily, milk for human consumption must not be taken from 84 hours (i.e. at the 7th milking) after the last treatment. Not for use in sheep producing milk for human consumption. Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Cattle may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 23 days from the last treatment. Sheep and pigs may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 16 days from the last treatment.
